Welcome to the Amadeus website

The Amadeus Orchestra is one of the world's foremost training orchestras for young professionals and music students. They meet several times a year for coaching at the highest level. The Amadeus has helped launch careers with every major British orchestra, and others as far afield as the Boston Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and their concerts have become renowned for their quality and vitality.

Royal Overseas League

Michael Foyle, leader of the Amadeus Orchestra has in recent days won the Royal Overseas League String Competition and the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra young soloist competition. Michael will be featuring as one of the soloists in Mozart’s double piano concerto in Exeter Cathedral in July.

Bournemouth Symphony Chorus

We are pleased to announce that we will once again welcome the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus back to perform with us in Exeter Cathedral on July 25th 2013 in Mahler’s Second Symphony. The soloists will be Cheryl Enever and Jeanette Ager and the conductor will be Philip Mackenzie.
